PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of accurately condensing vapor requiring no cooling fluid. SOLUTION: This apparatus includes a heat exchanger 1 which has an inflow port 5 for vapor and a high temperature drain, a discharge port 8 for a drain as condensed vapor and a low temperature drain and an atmospheric air open port 6 opened therein and has a drain reservoir chamber 3 inside and a heat pipe 2 which has a bent pipe 10 connected to the atmospheric air open port 6, an evaporation part 15 extended into the bent pipe 10 and a condensing part 16 extended outside the bent pipe 10. Reevaporated vapor generated from the vapor and the high temperature drain flowing into the drain reservoir chamber 3 from the inflow port 5 to reach the bent pipe 10 from the atmospheric air open port 6 is condensed by the heat pump 2. This enables accurately condensing of the vapor requiring no cooling fluid.
