PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a television signal receiver capable of preventing the occurrence of video fault such as the flowing or distortion of the video, video jump and multiple-video and stabilizing the video in a video signal adversely affected by multi-paths of a radio wave when the mobile television receiver receives the television signal. SOLUTION: By using a reception means 1, a ghost detection means 2, a pulse detection means 3, a phase estimate means 4, a ghost estimate means 5 and a phase estimate means 6, the synchronous phase of a received television signal and a ghost fault state at the reception are estimated. The video is corrected by a video stabilizing means 7 by using the estimated synchronous phase of the received television signal and the estimated ghost fault state and is displayed on a display means 8.
