PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a video effect in a low speed shutter mode at reproduction even when the low speed shutter mode is not selected in the case of photographing an object. SOLUTION: Video signals of a plurality of field are written in a storage field memory 1 that stores video signal and the video signal is read for a prescribed number of fields, a gain circuit 6 amplifies the video signal and outputs the amplified video signal. A detection circuit 10 detects the video signal read from the storage field memory 1 and the gain of the gain circuit 6 is decided based on the detected value.
