PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fit telephone sets of all kinds of size with one kind of internal plate so that a gap will not be seen. SOLUTION: The internal plate 18 is fitted to the back part of a cabinet body in which a telephone set is put to constitute the back part in double structure and the internal plate 18 is provided with a notch engagement part 19 for engaging the back part of the telephone set, thus constituting the telephone set cabinet. The notch engagement part 19 is formed in conformity with the maximum external shape among telephone sets and a gap preventive plate 20A for hiding a gap formed between the telephone set and the notch engagement part 19 when a telephone set other than the telephone set having the maximum external shape is stored is made attachable to and detachable from the notch engagement part 19.
