PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical coupling connection structure to maintain deformation capacity of a resin pipe at a connection part and provide a connection part between resin pipes excellent in strength. SOLUTION: Mechanical coupling structure is formed that a resin pipe P is inserted in a coupling body 1, a slip-off preventing ring 3 mounted on the coupling body 1 is fitted in the outer peripheral surface 6 of the resin pipe P to interconnect the resin pipes P. In this case, a cylindrical stiffener 8 is provided to be insertable in the resin pipe P with the stiffener corresponding in the longitudinal direction X of the resin pipe P to the same position as that of the slip-off preventing ring 3. The protrusion length L from the slip-off ring 3, in a direction in which the stiffener is separated from the coupling body 1, of the stiffener 8 is set to 0 mm or more and at most 30 mm. |
