PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly combine the powers of a fuel battery and a secondary battery. SOLUTION: A fuel battery 10 is connected to one end of the windings of a motor 20 via a first inverter 161. A second battery 12 is connected to the other end of the windings of the motor 20 via a second inverter 18. That is, two power supplies are located on the opposite sides of the windings of the motor 20. The first and the second converters 16 and 18 are so controlled that the potentials at a neutral point of the fuel battery 10 and the secondary battery 12 may be the same. Therefore, improper DC current is never caused to flow in the motor 2 and the motor 20 can be driven from combined powers of the two power supplies. |
