PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound source IC having plural sound sources to allow dynamic combination by one chip. SOLUTION: This sound source IC 30 is built-in with a memory 40, a reading- out part 50 and a decoding part 60, the memory 40 classifys plural coded sound data to hold them (41-44), the reading-out part 50 reads out the plural sound data from the memory 40 in order as coding block unit, and the decoding part 60 conducts decoding processing for the read-out sound data and separates them in response to respective classifications to generate plural reproduced sound signals. Saving for memory and common use for decoding part are realized thereby without imparing combination flexibility for the sound data. The reading-out circuit 50 conducts also intialization for the decoding part 60 in each of resister arrays 62-65 corresponding to each classification when the reading-out circuit 50 starts the reading for the sound data. The decoding part 60 is provided with reverse DCT circuit 61 to conduct MPEG(moving picture coding expert group) decoding. |
