REFLECTIVE LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflective liquid crystal display device for uniform alizing a cell gap without any display defect by optimizing a spray density of spacers in the case a projecting and recessing diffusion layer exists on the inside of a substrate. SOLUTION: In a projecting and recessing diffusion layer 3, intervals between vertexes of projecting parts are 6-20 μm, heights of the vertexes of the projecting parts are randomly arranged and the mean value of differences between the vertexes of the projecting parts and bottom of the recessing parts is specified to be about 0.5 μm. Spraying of spacers 5 on a substrate 2 is carried out by a spacer spraying system with an air flow through thin tubes and the spherical particulate spacers 5 with 3 μm diameter are sprayed with 300 particles/mm2 spray density.
