<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit items which are displayed by setting importance corresponding to a registration number for an item and discriminating the item according to a set threshold. SOLUTION: According to the registration number, the importance is set for the item whose registration number is set and the threshold for discriminating the set importance is set. According to the threshold, a display of the item is controlled on the basis of the discrimination result and the display corresponding to the importance is controlled. For example, when the start of an English word retrieval program is requested, English words (display object item) selected by a display item control process out of English words registered in a stored English word dictionary are displayed in a scroll widow 101. Namely, the display object item corresponding to the position bar specified by a line L (knob 103) is displayed in the scroll window 101. Then a user can switch over the display object item which is displayed by moving the position of the knob 103 with a mouse.</p> |
