<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit a scraping process and to improve workability of a polyethylene pipe used for a gas pipe, a water supply pipe, or the like by using modified ethylene polymer and/or modified ethylene.α-olefin copolymer resin for a fusion part between a polyethylene pipe and a polyethylene joint. SOLUTION: In an electro-fusion joint 1, an electric heating wire coil 2 is buried in a connection face with a polyethylene pipe 3 for connecting a plurality of polyethylene pipes 3 to each other, and fusion with the polyethylene pipe 3 is carried out by electric excitation. In this case, an adhesive resin consisting of modified ethylene polymer and/or modified ethylene.α-olefin copolymer is arranged between the polyethylene pipe 3 and the electro-fusion joint 1 for improving a fusing property. In this way, if an oxidation film exists in a fusion time, the oxidation film is stuck to the adhesive resin so as to be integrated as a resin layer, while the adhesive resin and the polyethylene resin can be compatible with each other, so that adhesion strength can be improved.</p> |
