<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stroboscopic device having a simple constitution, having improved light distribution property in a photographing range fixed at close range. SOLUTION: A dimming plate 12 which is made freely movable between a dimming position where the center part of a strobe light emitting part 11 is covered from the upper part to the lower part by the plate and a standard position where the plate 12 is stored in the camera 5 and retreated from the front of the strobe light emitting part 11 is installed in front of the strobe light emitting part 11. When the dimming plate 12 stands in the dimming position, the optical path of the strobe light emitted from the center part of the strobe light emitting part 11 is shielded by the dimming plate 12, then, only the strobe light emitted from the left and right sides are projected toward the photographing range. Thus, the total light quantity of the strobe light projected into the photographing range is drastically and surely reduced as compared with the normal practice. Besides, the strobe light is emitted from two positions separated as long as the width of the dimming plate 12, then, a risk such that the luminous fluxes of the strobe light emitted from respective positions overlap each other in the photographing range fixed at the close range is reduced. Thus, the trouble such that the bright and dark parts are caused by using a dimming plate with many adjacently formed holes is eliminated, and the illuminance is made uniform all over the area within the photographing range.</p> |
