<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always reset a real time clock RTC of the image pickup device to a date and time that is close to a current date and time. SOLUTION: When a drive voltage of an RTC 20 is restored to an operating voltage after the RTC 20 is stopped in a digital camera 1, an input output function 37 extracts date and time dataϕ2 from the latest photographing data F recorded in memories 21, 10. A reset function 38 initializes the date and time dataϕ2 to the RTC 20. As a result, the date and time close to a current date and time is set to the RTC 20 and the user can very easily match the date and time of the RTC 20 after it is reset. Since the dataϕ2 having already been stored in the memory 21 or 10 are used for the data when the RTC 20 is reset, the RTC 20 is always reset with a date and time close to a current date and time when image dataϕ2 are stored.</p> |
