PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the brake performance of a motor, and aim at downsizing of a motor body and drop of noise, and further the rise of quality of brake function and the up of setup work efficiency. SOLUTION: In the brake structure of a motor for an electric motor, an air gap 9 is provided between a pull rotor 9 having a plurality of segments die-cast integrally with a rotor 12 and an armature 8a divided into a magnetic substance and a nonmagnetic substance. Here, this pull rotor 9 and the armature 8a which are excited with current are attracted magnetically, to overcome the force of a brake spring 10, which releases the brake, and when a current is not applied, the brake force is kept at all times by the push force of the brake spring 10 incorporated inside.
