PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make data access efficient by performing control so that portable storage media are taken out while data, a file, and a main body for file access are stored or only the file main body is taken out without including the data. SOLUTION: Storage media having different access performance constitute one logical volume and a standby logical volume containing the same data as the data in the logical volume is further provided so as to multiply the data in the logical volume; and a portable storage media taking-out control means 3 is able to perform control corresponding to a portable storage media taking-out request in the standby logical volume. In this case, the logical volume and standby logical volume can be equipped with logical volume management information for mutually recognizing each other as data-multiplied opposite volumes.
