PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a job starting and managing method which selects and executes plural job selection systems in which plural priority parameters are considered and to provide its system. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a request accepting part 11 which accepts a job processing request from a job request source and registers it as a request record with a job management table 12, an extraction accepting part 133 which accepts an extraction request including a retrieval procedure identifier from an extraction request source and asks a retrieving part 131 to extracts the request record and the retrieving part 131 which refers to retrieval procedure definition 132, retrieves the request record from the job management table 12 according to the retrieval procedure definition corresponding to the retrieval procedure identifier and notifies retrieval results to the part 133, and the extraction accepting part 133 is provided with a result writing part 14 which receives the request record being the retrieval results, notifies the request record to the extraction request source, receives job end notification from the extraction request source and updates the execution status of the request record corresponded in the job management table into a processing end.
