PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrophotographic photoreceptor which is useful for an image forming device adopting a contact electrostatic charge system and/or a contact transfer system and is particularly excellent in wear resistance. SOLUTION: This image forming device has at least an electrostatic charge means, an image exposing means, a reversal development means, a transfer means and a cleaning means at an electrophotographic photoreceptor having an intermediate layer and a photosensitive layer on a conductive substrate 1. In such a case, the electrostatic charge means and/or transfer means of the image forming device is a contact electrostatic charge means and/or contact transfer means and the photosensitive layer of the electrophotographic photoreceptor is formed by using an aromatic compound, a cyclic etherified compound and/or their derivative solvents. The solvent residual amount in the photosensitive layer is <=1,000 ppm.
