DISPLAY DEVICE AND ITS SCROLL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent decline of image brightness, a residual image phenomenon and a flicker phenomenon. SOLUTION: In this display device, when an image plane is scrolled based on a scroll signal given from an input device 13 and simultaneously a prescribed image is displayed on a display 12, a scroll speed is determined by a control part 23 based on the scroll signal given from the input device 13, and the image data of the field with the number corresponding to the scroll speed or of the frame with the number corresponding to the scroll speed are displayed as the same image data. By displaying the same image data on one frame, electric charge accumulation in each liquid crystal dot is mitigated, and the brightness of each pixel can be kept in the excellent state, and a residual image phenomenon and a flicker phenomenon can be prevented.
