PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to clearly comprehend execution states of electrical appliances by receiving a control instruction of the electrical appliances of the user from a mobile terminal, transmitting a radio message of execution states of the control instruction to the mobile terminal and informing the user of the execution states of the electrical appliances. SOLUTION: A controller 101 to be controlled by a CPU 105 according to a program stored in an ROM 106 is controlled, by performing radio communication via a radio transmitting and receiving part 108 in a PS 102 as a PHS terminal. A digital image signal, which is converted by decoding a video signal from a television receiver 104 by a video signal decoding part 110, is captured as a still image by an image-capturing part 111. In addition, control for transmitting printer data to a printer 103 is performed by a printer control part 109, and control contents are displayed on an LCD display part of the PS 102 by the controller 101. Thus, the execution states of the printer 103, the television receiver 104, etc., are made recognizable by the user.
