Device for installing an additional cable circuit (10) in a duct or pipe containing a telephone or data transmission cable, using pressurized fluid equipment (12) to displace the cable or tube in the pipe or duct. The equipment has a cylindrical female ferrule (13) designed to placed around the end of the pipe (5) and to be sealed to it. Refer to Figs 1 and 2, an extension piece (14) is inserted between the end of the pipe (5) and the ferrule (13) of the equipment (12). The extension piece (14) consists of two semi-cylindrical half shells (14a,14b) assembled along a joint plane (15), so as to form a tubular body delimiting a longitudinal channel (16), one of whose ends (19) has a smooth cylindrical shape of the same exterior diameter as the pipe (5).This end (19) is fitted and sealed into the female end (13) of the equipment (12). The other end (20) is a conical screwed section and is designed to be screwed in the end of the pipe (5).
