<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ATM radio transmission system capable of suppressing in fluctuation in up ATM cells by suppressing the fluctuation in down ATM cell reproducing intervals. SOLUTION: Radio terminal equipment 12 and 14 receive down radio frames and after establishment of synchronism and the correction of error, the down radio frame is divided into N frames by N dividers 16 and 17. ATM terminal equipment 11 and 13 reproduce data streams from the divided frames while ignoring additional bits to a (down) ATM cell and with the reception timing of that (down) ATM cell as a reference, an (up) ATM cell is generated and outputted to the radio terminal equipment 12 and 14. Each radio terminal equipment 12 and 14 generates the up radio frame of constitution adding redundant bits such as error correction, synchronous bits and guard bits to the inputted (up) ATM cell and transmit it to a radio base station 15.</p> |
