SOLUTION: Broadcasting signal reception equipment 61-6r have a reception circuit 60 for receiving the broadcasting signals of plural channels respectively containing contents signals and characteristic signals showing the characteristics of these contents signals, switch circuit 61, output signal generating circuit 63 and control circuit 64 which select the contents signals of plural channels from among received broadcasting signals, while using selection reference data to be referred to in the case of selecting the contents signals to be defined as the object of editing out of the received contents signals of plural channels and characteristic signals contained in the received broadcasting signals, and editing these selected contents signals so as to generate an output signal S63.
