PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize a video and sound stream in a data broadcast image based on a data broadcast stream by allowing a basic code to store a video and sound broadcast stream meeting a prescribed condition in a storage device and display video contents based on the stored video and sound broadcast stream. SOLUTION: A basic code associated with a received video and sound broadcast stream stores a video and sound broadcast stream meeting a prescribed condition in a storage device. And, when an object based on a data broadcast stream is shown on the screen of a display device, video contents based on the stored video and sound broadcast stream are shown. In this device, an MPEG encoder part 401 encodes video data and audio data stored in a data storing part 101 for video and sound broadcast to generate a video and sound broadcasting stream and also encodes data for broadcast stored in a data storing part 102 for data broadcast to generate a data broadcast stream.
