PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device having high system extendibility and capable of surely driving other drivers without exerting influence to the whole system even when a part of drivers runs down due to the shortage of capacity or the like. SOLUTION: Plural drivers and plural batteries 7a, (7b) are connected to a common power supply line drawn out from a main computer 1. Each battery device 7a has a battery 21, a voltage monitoring circuit 19, a reversed flow preventing diode 23, a step-up type constant current charging circuit 27, and an electronic relay 25. In addition, each battery device 7a has a power supply instructing means (control part 9) for instructing power supply from the battery 21 by switching the relay 25 to the side of the circuit 27 to the side of the diode 23 and a charge instructing means (control part 9) for instructing the charge of the battery 21 by switching the relay 25 from the diode side 23 to the circuit side 27 when the circuit 19 detects the drop of voltage. |
