PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a cabinet for a cathode-ray tube(CRT) display by decreasing the size of a coil for correcting earth's magnetism provided to the cabinet for the CRT display. SOLUTION: A self-bonding wire formed by coating a bonding layer around a conductor is wound on a winding groove 11 of a bobbin 10 in an earth magnetism correction coil, and adjacent conductor wires are wound thereon while being bonded by the bonding material, so that it is not required to bind up the wound conductors with an adhesive tape. Since the conductors bonded together will not deviate in the coil due to the increase in the gap of the conductor wires, the size of the coil is formed thinner in comparison with a conventional coil. Then the shape of the cabinet is reduced by mounting the thin earth magnetism correction coil to the cabinet of the CRT display device.
