PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience at the execution of specific intercom functions for alarming by a resident in a house, intercom operation guidance, and answering to a call. SOLUTION: The resident in the house operates an operation button 23 of the interphone master device 2 in switch structure for two-stage operation twice as a means for executing the specific intercom functions for alarming, intercom operation guidance, call answering, etc., and is then able to confirm the contents of an intercom function to be implemented from character video generated by a video generating circuit 25 and displayed out on a monitor 28 at the time of 1st operation and then implement a predetermined intercom function by operating the operation button 23 again after confirming the function, thereby improving the convenience at the implementation of the intercom functions by the resident in the house.
