PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain illuminance high and uniform even when a light source is provided at one end of a rod-shaped light guide body of the line lighting device and the other end is left rough. SOLUTION: The shape of a light scatter pattern 11 comprises a 1st part 11a which gradually increases in area from one end where a light source unit is arranged to the other end, a 2nd part 11b which connects with the 1st part 11a and increases in area to the other end at a larger increase rate than that of the 1st part, and a 3rd part 11c which connects to the 2nd part 11b and extends to the other end while maintaining the maximum width of the 2nd part.
