PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control ON/OFF a heat transport by a heat pipe device as desired by providing a valve disc at an intermediate part of a heat transport passage of the pipe, and opening/closing the disc at the passage according to a magnetic force of a valve driver. SOLUTION: A valve disc 13 is provided at an intermediate part of a heat transport passage 12 of the heat pipe 11. The disc 13 engages or disengages a steel ball 18 back-up supported to a spring 19 and seated at a support hole 20 of a rotor 17 with or from an upper end opening 16B of a heat pipe body 16 so that the passage 12 is openable or closable at a position of the opening 16B. Such a valve disc 13 is set to a closed position by a magnetic force of a valve driver 14 to stop movement of the pipe 11 at the passage 11 between a high temperature side and a low temperature side to stop its heat transport. Contrarily, the disc 13 is set to an open position to move the liquid between the high temperature side and the low temperature side of the passage 12 of the pipe 11 to transport the heat. |
