PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily evaluate surface shape regardless of the variety by using position data in the surface region of connecting resin corresponding to each unit and obtaining approximation functions for each surface shape. SOLUTION: Figure A shows an example of image data obtained from a camera and the top is an image of reflection light from the clad surface of optical fiber core and the bottom is an image of reflection light from the surface of connecting resin.
