PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a scale which achieves a higher working efficiency along with a limited strain of eyes by plotting an arbitrary interval to achieve quick and accurate inspection and checking involved. SOLUTION: In this scale, several of equal interval graduations are integrated. Two groove holes 3 and 3' are arranged parallel with a long side 1 of the scale to make six graduation faces which are given minimum graduations scored at an interval of 2 mm, other graduations scored respectively at an interval of 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm and 7 mm and the conventional graduation scored at an interval of 1 mm. This facilitates the use of bold graduations scored respectively at an interval of 6 mm, 8 mm, 9 mm and 10 mm by rearranging the graduations on the above-mentioned scales by two or three apart.
