PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a gas cooking range in which cleaning performance is enhanced by inclining the bottom soup receiving part of a top plate downward from the front side toward the rear side so that boil-off soup flows rearward without standing on the front side thereby preventing the boil-off soup from sticking when a front burner is used after soup has boiled off. SOLUTION: A soup receiving part 12 formed on the bottom face of a top plate 9 is provided with down slope from the front side toward the rear side or a step. Since spill-off soup in the soup receiving part 12 of the top plate 9 is fed rearward, i.e., to the side of a burner of low use frequency, it is prevented from sticking to the soup receiving part of the top plate thus enhancing convenience and cleaning performance.
