Support 1 has apertures 5, 10 through which strap 6 attached to a supported clothing article 2 is passed and fixed to article 2, typically by stitching. Support 1 is in turn supported from another article of clothing. Typically the article 2 is a camisole and support 1 is passed through ring 3 of brassiere strap 14. Support 1 has a tapered leading edge to enable such engagement.
