<p>The invention relates to Alzheimer's disease and more specifically to gene therapy and prevention of Alzheimer's disease. The invention provides a gene delivery or gene therapy vehicle and methods for its use in therapy and prevention of dementia's such as Alzheimer's disease whereby a functional ApoE gene or a functional equivalent thereof is introduced or delivered into human or humanised cells such as progenitor cells for example monocytes or glialcells.</p> |
