PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate installation work of a buried gas cock. SOLUTION: A gas cock main body 2 is housed in and fixed to a case body 1 opened on the front side. An opening 30 is formed on a cover body 3 attached to the case body 1, at its portion opposed to a plug part 21 of the gas cock main body 2, for the insertion of receptacle. A support body 5 supports an opening/closing cover 4 for the opening 30 in such a manner that the cover can be opened/closed, and it can enter the case body 1 while being perpendicularly stood in respect to the cover body 3. In such a buried gas cock, the support body 5 is formed independently on the cover body 3. A receiving portion 1a is formed on at elast one of the case body 1 and the gas cock main body 2, for positioning the support body 5. An engaging portion 55 formed on the support body 5 is engaged with an engaged portion 16 formed on at least one of the case body 1 and the gas cock main body 2, for keeping the supported state after setting the receiving portion 1a to the support body 5.
