FIELD: equipment for study and development of seas and oceans; devices for stabilization of submersible carriers of measurement equipment. SUBSTANCE: submersible vehicle includes equipment carrier which is provided with fore fairing and tail stabilizer. Submersible equipment carrier is secured on tow cable. Unloading floats are fitted in fore and tail sections of submersible carrier. Variable-depth cable is provided with weights for compensating for buoyant force of floats. EFFECT: enhanced stability of submersible vehicle in horizontal position; enhanced accuracy of oceanographical measurements. 3 cl, 2 dwg
