摘要 An automatic automotive gearbox has a shaft (2) bearing forming part of the hydrodynamic torque converter, and fixed to the impeller wheel. The bearing consists of a concentric roller bearing around the shaft. The bearing has numerous rollers (3,3') rotating within an outer race (9). A choke ring (4) with radial mechanical play is inserted between the ends of the roller bearings (3), at the end directed away from the impeller wheel (7) and the relevant end-face rim (10) of the bearing race. The choke ring rests only against an area (8) on the bearing race end edge. The race is fabricated from pressed sheet metal.
