A biaxial stretch blow molding machine (1) comprising a preform feed section (3) having a reversing mechanism and a molded article ejecting section (6) having the same reversing mechanism. In the preform feed section (3), the action of receiving empty preform carriers is performed on one side of the reversing mechanism, and performed simultaneously on the other side are the action of mounting preforms on the preform carriers and the action of delivering the preform carriers with preforms carried thereon. In the molded article ejecting section (6) also, the action of receiving preform carriers with molded articles carried thereon is performed on one side of the reversing mechanism, and simultaneously performed on the other side are the action of ejecting molded articles and the action of delivering emptied preform carriers. It is possible to efficiently perform such actions as transfer of preform carriers between carrying routes (8 (3), (4)) and between the carrying routes (8 (4), 8 (1)) that differ in elevation, feeding of preform carriers and ejection of molded articles. Thus, a biaxial stretch blow molding machine whose processing speed as a whole is high can be actualized.
