A correcting composition obtained from suspensions of white pigment and binder in an aqueous alcohol dispersing agent and other adjuvants and additives is new. A correcting composition is obtained from suspensions of white pigment and binder in an aqueous alcohol dispersing agent and other adjuvants and additives. The composition contains (wt.%): (I) white pigment (22-26), preferably (24.25); (II) thermoplastic self-crosslinking acrylic polymer binder (12.5-15), preferably (13.86); (III) K- or Na-water glass or cellulose ether binder (1.5-2.5), preferably (2.07); (IV) wetting agent (23-29), preferably 26.19); (V) high boiling alcoholic solvent (0.8-1.2), preferably (1.03), (VI) thickening agent (0.8-1.2), preferably (1.03), and (VII) water, and optionally other solvents (28-34), but especially water for adjustment of the viscosity. Components (I) to (VII) are mixed to 100 wt.%.
