Use of an aqueous preparation containing agents (I) and (II) is claimed for strengthening and/or healing plants to combat attack by fungi and/or soil pests, where (I) are fatty alcohols and/or partial esters of fatty acids with lower polyols and (II) are oil-in-water (O/W) type alkyl (poly)glycosides.
