[Also in Division B1] In a method of supplying a mixture of lubricating oil and fuel to an internal combustion engine, a pump 5, having an adjustable stroke, feeds oil through a duct 8, having a bend 9 and a substantially vertical portion 10, into a fuel-feed duct 11 which supplies a jet 12 of a carburetter 13. The pump 5 is driven by a " V "- belt pulley 6 and is adjusted by a lever 7 which is connected by a link 14 to a valve lever 15, the latter being actuated by an accelerator pedal (not shown). The portion 10 prevents excess oil from entering the duct 11 when the engine is not running. In an alternative construction, the portion 10 can be replaced by a valve.</p> |
