METHOD FOR MANUFACTURE OF THIN-WALLED HOLLOW JEWELRY ARTICLES OR JEWELRY ARTICLE PARTS FROM GOLD OR SILVER ALLOYS

FIELD: manufacture of jewelry articles. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying tape made from mentioned alloy and having thickness of 0.14-0.16 mm on base in the form of metal wire by simultaneously drawing it through row of forming sleeves having gradually decreasing diameter; forming produced tubular construction for obtaining jewelry article or part of jewelry article; removing metal wire by etching it. Drawing process is performed at the rate of 20-100 cm/min and pressing force of 10-40 kg until thickness of mentioned alloy reaches 0.05-0.1 mm. Aluminum wire may be used as base. It is etched in 20-70% aqueous alkali solution at temperature of 50-80 C. Method allows hermetically sealed thin-walled construction with guaranteed precious metal purity to be produced.
