Image information transmission method e.g. for video surveillance system, uses narrow bandwidth data channels for transmission of moving object image data extracted from background scene image data

The image information transmission method evaluates the image information for extracting moving object image data from the background scene image data, to allow transmission of the extracted data to a data processing device via narrow bandwidth data channels. The extracted moving object image data is assigned a classification and is temporarily stored alongside this classification value, for assigning a stored text message to each classification value. An Independent claim for an image information transmission device is also included.
