FIELD: veterinary science, vaccines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing vaccines or sera against virus-bacterial cattle diseases. For preparing "A", "B" and "C" components from local focus all epizootic strains of bacterial and viral diseases pathogens are isolated, identified and cultured separately. Viral strains are grown in cultured cells, for example, cells of line MDBK and nutrient Eagle MEM medium is added to obtain the final concentration of each virus 1-106/50 per 1 ml, not less. Virus-containing suspensions of each strain at equal volumes are poured off into the total capacity, mixed and "A" component of the preparation is obtained. Part of "A" component is inactivated with formalin to final concentration 0.2-0.4 wt.-%, not above, incubated for 3-5 days, not less, at the room temperature and "B" component of the preparation is obtained. Bacterial strains are cultured in flasks on microbiological nutrient agar, for example, GRM-agar. Each bacterial strain is obtained at concentration 1-1011 cells/ml, not less. Then cells are collected at equal volumes into the total capacity using Earl solution. Mixture of bacterial strain biomasses are inactivated with formalin at final concentration 0.2-0.4 wt.-% followed by incubation for 3-5 days at the room temperature and "B" component of the preparation is obtained. Invention ensures to obtain universal preparation based on local virus-bacterial strains showing the more broad spectrum of action. EFFECT: improved method of preparing, broadened spectrum of action. 3 cl, 3 ex
