THE USE OF DOPAMINERGIC AGENTS IN THE MANAGEMENT OF SEXUAL DYSFUNCTION

This invention relates to a new use of dopaminergic agonists for improving sexual function, particularly erectile function. Preferred agonists are pramipexol and ropirinol which present much less side effects than agonists of previous generations. Pramipexol has been further used successfully in combination with sildenafil. A new pharmaceutical composition comprising both a vasodilating agent such as sildenafil and a dopaminergic agonist is described and claimed.
