A solution heat exchanger disposed in a solution flow channel in an absorption refrigerating machine and used for heat exchange between a dilute solution and a concentrated solution. The solutionheat exchanger (H) is a plate type heat exchanger and has a communication section (R) for providing, within the solution heat exchanger (H), communication between a dilute solution flow channel for introducing part of a dilute solution into a concentrated liquid and a concentrated solution flow channel.
