<p>The chuck (8) pressure control has in one of the control chambers (20) a pressure that is regulated as a function of a set value and controls safety valves (22a,22b) to compensate sharp fluctuation in input hydraulic pressure. The response to an operator command to reduce chuck grip pressure is delayed for a time sufficient to stabilise the regulation process.</p> |
