A fill indicator having a pivotable lever located within a clippings container of a mower for actuating a switch and audible alarm when the lever pivots in response to accumulating clippings piling up in the container, the lever including a weight member repositionable to a plurality of positions on the lever for adjusting the sensitivity of the lever to forces applied to the lever by clippings within the container.
