<p>The wristwatch includes a main antenna (12) which is formed from nickel wire which is tightly coiled in a tube (11) of synthetic material. The tube is slid into a cylindrical housing built into the watch case at one end adjacent to a strip fitting (5). When a stopper (19) at the end of the tube is unscrewed, a lug (22) on a safety ring (21) is broken so that the antenna can be pulled out to generate the high frequency signal from a PCB transmitter. A counterweight antenna (31) of thinner wire is similarly positioned for deployment from the opposite end (4) of the case.</p> |
