The two-part plug nipple connects a tool to a coupling of a hydraulic/pneumatic medium transport pipe. The first part (11) has a locking section (13) for fitting into an aperture in the coupling from where it can be removed easily. A second part (3) has a connector section (5) for connection to the tool. Each part has a further section (9,17), with one section enclosing the other one radially, and an elastic connection (19) between the two. The connection is formed by casting, injection-molding, or extruding of an elastic rubber-like material e.g. an elastomer polymer, between the sections. |
