<p>Bone plate apparatus comprises a plate having a superior surface, and inferior surface, a slot extending between the superior and inferior surfaces, and a rim extending around the slot. The rim includes an interrupted surface. A fastener includes a shaft which can extend into the bone. A collar is coupled to the shaft and a head is coupled to the collar for movement in the slot. The collar includes an interrupted surface which can mate with the interrupted surface of the slot rim. A nut cooperates with the head of the fastener to couple the interrupted surfaces of the fastener and rim together, and to lock the head in a fixed position within the slot. <IMAGE></p> |
