The phoropter arm (11) is adjustable in height parallel with the vertical axis of the stand. It may be laterally movable on the plane of the arm parallel with the plane in front of the patient's chair. Alternatively it may be pivoted on the stand (7) in a guide (8), using a single drive mechanism. The phoropter arm has a bushing through which the vertical axis of the stand fits. The guide between the bushing and stand is formed by a lug on the stand fitting into a slot in the bushing. |
